...Another interesting note: this project has broken barriers in as much as the style of sound they dish out. Humans have attempted, perhaps unsuccessfully, to categorize they sounds they hear into very broad categories. Lame tries at narrowing these general categories into more detailed groups confuses the situation even more. This isn't a negative process for it seems part of human nature to want to sort out the information that is received through the five senses. Xome destroys the image of what sound should be going beyond what is expected when listening to music. Traditional 'rules' of harmony, melody and rhythm thrown to the side, pulling the listener into a new realm of aural (and visual during live performances) reality...
